Statistics show employees cost between 2 and 2 1/2 times more then hourly rate when you add in the cost of employer taxes, workers compensation insurance, sick time, vacation time, breaks, health insurance, office space, office equipment, computers, software, etc. Virtual Assistants operate a fully functional home office. And, as an independent contractor, a Virtual Assistant handles their own taxes and benefits. There is no additional cost to you beyond the actual rate at which you contract your virtual service provider.
Monthly retainers provide ongoing support at a discounted rate. Retainer fees are required in full in advance of services; payment is due before beginning work each month. Hours that are not used within the month do not carry over to the next month. Additional fees, as outline below, not included and will be billed at the end of the billing month.

· There are no refunds for hours not used.
· Retainer hours do not carry forward to the next month.

· Additional charge for “Rush” or 24 hour turnaround.
Additional Fees:
Bay Area VA completes client projects in a professional manner which provides the most up-to-date technology and resources to help complete each project. However, some client projects may accrue extra fees for items such as printing paper, ink cartridges, stamps, envelopes, courier costs, long-distance charges (outside the US), travel time and expenses, unique software, and any other office supplies specific to the client’s needs. Clients will be advised of all additional fees outside of the contracted rate and billed additionally to normal pricing fees.
